Every year Roofline Roofing Services get called to hundreds of properties where storms have caused property damage.

We are able to offer independent assessments for loss adjusters and insurance companies, as well as written opinions and advice to domestic customers considering a potential insurance claim.

If we see genuine storm damage, we will tell you. We do however have a burden placed upon us to differentiate between genuine storm damage and wear and tear. In doing so we can speed up any insurance claim, as well as stream line the claim to ensure customers have no problem claiming. In some circumstances we may advise to conduct the works privately.

For example, if Mr Jones has some tiles off. We will attend and inspect the cause of the loose tiling. If it is solely down to high winds we would recommend and fully support an insurance claim with a written opinion and estimate.

If however rusted nails and rotten batons have cased the tiles to slip, the customer will be informed that it really would be regarded as wear and tear, thus saving the customer time in not having to bother go through the drawn out process of submitting a claim form and dealing with loss adjusters.

We can promise this though; we understand it is often a trade off between the customer wanting to get the works done for free, and the insurance company wanting to escape liability.

We understand homeowners pay their premiums in good faith, on time, every year, and therefore should be able to claim for genuine storm damage items.

We here at Roofline are accredited by many insurance providers in providing an honest and reliable report of the damage, one which can sometimes sway insurance companies in deciding to side with us.
